KENGIC Provides Zipper Industry with Smart Storage Solution, Revolutionizing Apparel Warehouse Automation

This project has established an industry-leading integrated system encompassing storage, transportation, and control, setting a new benchmark for automation within the apparel supply chain.

                                                              Smart Warehouse of SBS Zipper

In this project, KENGIC provides advanced smart storage solutions to Fujian Xunxing Zipper Polytron Technologies Inc. (SBS), a global Top 2 zipper manufacturer, to enhance operational efficiency and support intelligent transformation. As a landmark intelligent warehousing initiative in the apparel industry, the project incorporates KENGIC’s comprehensive turnkey solutions, spanning project planning, professional system integration, equipment research and development, manufacturing, software development and implementation, on-site installation and commissioning, as well as after-sales service.

                                                                    KENGIC’s Conveyor System

This intelligent AS/RS project includes a tote storage zone, a pallet storage zone, and a conveyor zone. KENGIC has provided a comprehensive solution encompassing automated storage systems, including one pallet SRM with 504 pallet locations and eleven Miniload systems featuring a total of 93,280 tote slots, enabling high-density storage for 13 different carton sizes. The solution also encompasses intelligent material handling through AGV fleets, enabling seamless end-to-end transportation across multiple zones and floors. Additionally, it integrates a conveyor network comprising chain conveyors, lifts, and heavy-duty conveyors, along with smart fulfillment processes such as automatic weighing, dynamic labeling with millimeter-level precision, and sorting systems designed to optimize shipping efficiency.

KENGIC’s solution provided in this project incorporates cutting-edge features to address apparel industry challenges:

· Flexible Equipment Design:
Variable pitch forks, dual-station load platforms, and single/double-depth high-speed Miniload enable automated inbound/outbound of cartons in 13 different sizes with tote SRMs moving 1,200+ cartons/hour and tote conveyors moving up to 1,200 cartons/hour.

· Digital System Integration:
Seamless connectivity between WMS, WCS, and MES systems enables real-time data tracking, reducing inventory errors by 98%.

· Sustainability Focus:
Designed with energy-efficient components and equipped with dust control systems, the solution complies with stringent environmental standards required in modern apparel manufacturing.
